The DMC Conference is limited to individuals that fall under the United States/Canada Joint Certification Program, citizens of the United States, and persons admitted lawfully for permanent residence into the U.S. and Canada. All attendees are required to check the citizenship portion of the Conference Registration Form.
Please Note: Active U.S. and Canadian Military are excluded from this requirement with proper identification.
The material to be presented and discussed at DMC 2016 will involve technical data that is governed by DOD Directive 5230.25, "Withholding of Unclassified Technical Data from Public Disclosure." Only individuals or enterprises certified under DOD Directive 5230.25 are eligible to obtain access to unclassified technical data with military or space applications in the possession of, or under the control of, the DOD.
DMC 2017 attendees must determine if their employer already has a certification on file that extends to all employees. If an employer already has a certification on file, attendees are not required to recertify. However, you must return a copy of the approved company certification (DD2345, "Military Critical Technical Data Agreement") along with the registration form.
To determine if your employer already has a certification on file that extends to all employees, visit the website at https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/PublicHome/jcp/default.aspx. If not certified, your company may apply for certification by completing the DD2345. The application must be submitted directly to:
U.S./Canada Joint Certification Office
DLA Logistics Information Service
Federal Center, 74 Washington Avenue, North
Battle Creek, MI USA 49037-3084
The attached DD2345 may be duplicated. You must include some type of documentation that verifies your company, such as a copy of its state business license, or Articles of Incorporation, or Incorporation Certificate, or a copy of their IRS Document verifying the tax ID number. Only one form of documentation is required. If this is not included with the DD2345 it will be returned unprocessed. Processing time is approximately one month. The Joint Certification Office will notify each company's custodian by email if the company's request for certification has been approved. Questions regarding the application approval process should be directed to the Joint Certification Office at the number listed above.
Please Note: Every location of a company MUST have its own certification. For example, if your organization's headquarters are in Alexandria, VA, but you work at an office in Denver, CO, your certified DD2345 MUST have the address for the Denver office. One certified DD2345 at the headquarters does not blanket all locations of an organization. University certification is by department and not University-wide.
