The Composites Processing and Fabrication sessions will focus on innovative composite (plastic, organic matrix composites and ceramic matrix composites ) process technologies that enable significant cost reductions and/or improved war-fighting capability.

The session presentations will be a combination of invited presentations and abstracts selected from industry and government. Technical sessions will focus on advances in design for manufacturing, modeling/simulation, manufacturing, assembly, inspection/evaluation technologies being matured for weapon systems in development and production, legacy weapon systems; repair technologies and, next generation structures manufacturing. Applications may include structures, propulsion, armor, radomes, coatings, etc.

You are requested to submit abstracts for manufacturing technologies that meet the above mentioned overall session focus. Abstracts should be submitted for presentations which will share the technical details of advancements in the state of the art and practice, demonstrating an increased readiness for implementation into production. Presentations are expected to provide detailed technical information on manufacturing processes, validation testing and transition risk reduction activities. Only submit abstracts if the technical details of the project can be presented.
